From what I picked up the guy teaching was pointing out that not only did Jesus heal this woman, he also restored her into a community that had likely shunned her previously. By healing her and taking time to talk to her he gave her value. He also pointed out that this all took place while Jesus could have been saving the life of another, read the verses prior. And yet, he did not rush away, again giving her value. There was more, but it is late, and it was in 2 languages so I am having a hard time recounting it all right now. But thanks for sharing, they were all encouraging to me today. Especially the Psalm and proverb. I needed to read those.

Love you!!!trinityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04392591780787186216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7867906005141893807.post-32053186478303541122011-01-29T10:14:24.833-08:002011-01-29T10:14:24.833-08:00I love the idea of reading the Acts passage in mul...I love the idea of reading the Acts passage in multiple languages! I will share that idea with our worship team. At our community interfaith Thanksgiving service we say the benediction in multiple languages (May the Lord bless you and keep you, May the Lord lift his countenance upon, and give you peace.)Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06420035725875000489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7867906005141893807.post-49105623451097607932011-01-28T18:18:46.253-08:002011-01-28T18:18:46.253-08:00I really like your choices and wonder why I chose ...I really like your choices and wonder why I chose such short verses!
